The 2011 Audi A5 2.0 Quattro Cabriolet is essentially a more muscular, two door version of the old four-seats A4 Cabriolet. This is a car that will offer you a bigger space in the back and a good ride cruising around town.
Exterior:
If you’re not a fan of topless car, this Audi A5 will convert you. It looks good with, or without it. It still has the Audi trademark front grill, along with LED daylight running lights, aluminum speed ring around the cockpit that lead to the A-pillars, and the aggressive windshield frame.
Interior:
Inside, well, to put it simply, it is outdated. The interior will provide you a great place to ride, but it seems that Audi lost its touch to be a brand that other brands should aspire to. Not to mention the absence of navigation system, it will make you wonder what does $44,190 price tag gave you.
The rear seats are comfortable though, and the eight-way power seats are good, provides you with lateral supports when you take corners and turns.
Performance:
This car can still be your favorite. Why? Well, under the bonnet you got the latest 2.0 liter 4 cylinder direct injection turbocharged engine that generates 211 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. Equipped alongside the single engine are the all-wheel drivetrain, and a choice of Multitronic CVT gearbox for front drivers, or Tiptronic eight-speed manumatic. Yes the engine feels a bit sluggish in the first gear, but wait for a while, and you’ll get engine suddenly burst to life.
Eco-mentally speaking, well the EPA reported the Audi’s mileage rating is 21/29 mpg (city/highway), with a combined average of 24 mpg.
Conclusion:
The 2011 Audi A5 Quattro Cabriolet is a sexy car that looks even sexier topless. If you like cruising with your car under the tropical sun, this car is comfortable enough to do just that.
However, you can find a better version of this car in the Chevrolet Camaro Convertible. So it comes down to which brand you like the most I suppose…
